A nature center is a small visitor center, frequently located within a park, that displays wildlife within the region. Nature centers, which mostly serve educational purposes, generally display small live animals, such as reptiles, rodents, insects, or fish, or preserved dead animals or animal parts.

Many nature centers allow free admission, but collect voluntary donations in order to keep them running.
