Navy Cross

U.S. military decoration awarded for valor in combat against an armed enemy of the United States. Established on February 4, 1919, the Navy Cross may be awarded to personnel serving with the U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps. The Navy Cross is the equivalent of the Distinguished Service Cross.
