Who picks the starting line-up for the NBA All-Star game?

The five starters for the NBA's Western and Eastern Conference teams were chosen by a fan vote. The coaches picked the rest of the team members. Tonight's NBA All-Star Game features LeBron James, Amar'e Stoudemire, Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose and Dwight Howard playing for the East, and Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul and Tim Duncan starting for the West. An injured Yao Ming is going to be sitting this one out. The two conferences have alternated wins over the last several years — according to the pattern, it's the West's turn to bring home the trophy. But, we'll only know when the clock runs down tonight at Los Angeles' Staples Center. The game starts at 8 PM ET, with coverage beginning at 7 PM on TNT.
