In the 2005-6 pro basketball season, The Miami Heat made court history by culling its first NBA championship since the team's 1988 inception. Under the tutelage of Coach Pat Riley, The Heat rebounded from a 2-0 record against the Dallas Mavericks and trounced that team - leaving in its wake a season that no Miami fan would soon forget. Now, the documentary NBA: Miami Heat 2005-6 Champions brings together a compendium of highlights from the team's premier winning season. Highlights include: playoff victories against the Pistons, the Nets and the Bulls; the defense of Udonis Haslem and Alonzo Mourning; the extraordinary performances of Shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade, and of course, the final championship game, wrapping with a score of 95-78, and a 4-2 series win.
