(Not So Bad Distribution) An open source system for distributing free software and software updates over the Web. Running on Unix servers, NSBD uses the PGP encryption method to manage digital signatures in order to prevent tampering with the software. NSBD, written in TCL/TK and C, is available at www.bell-labs.com/nsbd.
