Neen

NEEN stands for NEENSTARS, taken from a commission by the Greek artist, Miltos Manetas. He refers to a generation of visual artists who usually create through software, web designs and videogame animation. The term "Neen" was created by a company called Lexicon Branding. It is a palindrome and coincidentally, in old Greek, means "exactly now". Introduced in May, 2000, in a performance at Gagosian Gallery in New York, Neen has turned into an international movement, growing by word of mouth and on the Internet.
