Review

Here are two absolutely tremendous songs by the Wipers. Unfortunately, the band's first 7" record in 12 years (since their third one, "Romeo") is only composed of two songs from their recent Silver Sail LP. It's still worth noting: after all, these are the final two tracks on the LP, so many may have missed the songs. Besides, they're both worth spotlighting since they're the only two speedy, hammering songs on the record, the only two that remind of the band's original 1977-1989 storming period. In particular, just to hear the incredible guitar playing by Greg Sage that runs throughout this A-side, definitely Silver Sail's standout track, is worth giving this single a zillion spins. Yes, a zillion. Just try and get tired of this song. You won't succeed. ~ Jack Rabid, All Music Guide
