(1958-68)

Published in Zurich this periodical was founded by members of the Swiss School of Graphic Design, also known as the International Typographic Style, and did much to promote its inherent design values including a reliance on a typographic grid system, left-hand margin settings contrasting with a ragged right hand, sans serif typefaces, and a commitment to a clear, rational aesthetic. In addition to the English language New Graphic Design was published in German as Neue Grafik and French as Graphisme actuel.
