Guangzhou South Railway Station (simplified Chinese: 广州南站; traditional Chinese: 廣州南站; pinyin: Guǎngzhōu Nán Zhàntái), also known as New Guangzhou Railway Station (simplified Chinese: 新广州站; traditional Chinese: 新廣州站; pinyin: Xīn Guǎngzhōu Zhàn) or Shibi Railway Station (Chinese: 石璧站; pinyin: Shíbì Zhàn), is a station in Shibi Village, Panyu, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China.
It is the largest metro station in Guangzhou. It is one of the four largest railway passenger transportation hubs in China.[1] It is an interchange station and a terminus between Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, Guangzhou-Maoming Railway, Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity Mass Rapid Transit and Wuguang Passenger Line.[2][3] It will also link to Guangzhou Metro Line 2 and Line 7.[4] It opened in 2010.[5]
