New Line Records is a record label owned by Time Warner and operates as a division of New Line Cinema. Founded to release movie soundtracks, the label has grown beyond this initial purpose and has built a roster of indie rock acts such as The Sounds, OFFICE, Robbers on High Street, The Sights, and Midnight Movies. The label is distributed by Alternative Distribution Alliance, a division of Warner Music Group, once a division of NLC parent Time Warner.
