The New Mexico Renegades are a Junior "A" ice hockey team, based in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The Team plays in the Mid-West Division of the Western States Hockey League (WSHL). Their home games are played at the Blades Multiplex Arena. The Renegades affiliate is the New Mexico Mustangs of the NAHL, an expansion franchise starting in the Fall of 2010.
The organization also fields youth hockey teams at the Midjet, Bantam, Peewee, and Squirt and other various levels.[1] As well as girls teams.[2]

The team was founded in 2008 as the Texas Renegades, based in Fort Worth, Texas.[3] After the 2008-2009 season in Fort Worth the team was moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico and became the New Mexico Renegades.
