The New York Sentinels are a professional American football team in the United Football League. The team began play in October 2009, with home games split between Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, James M. Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, New York, and Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut (one home game in each venue).
Ted Cottrell is the current head coach. It has been reported that the team will move Hartford, Connecticut for the 2010 season by a Las Vegas newspaper, this is now very likely.[1] However, team owner Bill Mayer has opposed this decision.[2]
