Niangua is a city in Webster County, Missouri, United States. The population was 445 at the 2000 census.It is
3 Miles From I-44 and is 5 Miles North Of Marshfield.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area
of 1.1 km² (0.4 mi²), all land.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there were 445 people, 179 households, and 124 families residing in the
city. The population density was 419.1/km² (1,088.6/mi²). There were 202 housing
units at an average density of 190.2/km² (494.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.18% White, 0.45% African American, 2.02% Native American, 0.67% from other races, and 0.67% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.35% of the population.
There were 179 households out of which 31.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.9% were married couples living together, 11.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.2% were
non-families. 27.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or
older. The average household size was 2.49 and the average family size was 3.04.
In the city the population was spread out with 26.1% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 27.0% from 25 to 44, 23.6% from
45 to 64, and 15.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 99.6 males.
For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 103.1 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $26,000, and the median income for a family was $27,500. Males had a median
income of $26,000 versus $19,792 for females. The per capita income for the city was
$12,509. About 12.5% of families and 16.9% of the population were below the poverty
line, including 24.3% of those under age 18 and 17.3% of those age 65 or over.
