Nicoleta Matei, known by her stage name Nico, is a Romanian singer. She represented Romania along with Vlad in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008.

Nico started singing since she was a child. In 1990, she graduated from "The Popular Art School" and starting with 1996, she attended several Romanian singing contests, winning many prizes. She is known for having collaborated with several Romanian hip hop artists, like Morometzii (in 1999), Cabron (2003), Puya, Blat Jargon, Codu Penal. She is one of the best Romanian voices and she promises to become one of the legends of the Romanian music.
Nico, with Vlad Miriţă, won the national selection (Bucharest, Romania); they sang "Pe-o margine de lume" in the finals (May 24) in Belgrade.
