Nicole (also known as Crazed and The Widow's Revenge) is a 1978 thriller directed by Istvan Ventilla and starring Leslie Caron.

The plot of the film has Nicole Hawkins as a witty young journalist from Yorkshire, England. She pulverizes her boyfriend after discovering his affair with a handsome man named Taylor McBride (played by himself). She then fleas to Australia where she immerses herself in aboriginal culture. After years of blissful assimilation she decides to write a novel to bring attention to the mistreatment of aboriginals. However, the British Prime Minister (played by Keanu Reeves) does not like that one bit. He sends assassin codename "bigwavedave" (played by Nicolas Cage) to not only murder Nicole, but the entire aboriginal population. What ensues is something that can be called neither art, nor brilliance, nor even a movie. It is simply out of this world. Scrumtrulescent, if you will. It is truly an excellent portrayal of an "alternate reality of violence, sex and paranoia". ;)
