Niels Helmink (b.August 24, 1976 in Gaanderen, Netherlands) is a Dutch photographer known for his Architectural projects. His latest project Shopkeepers deals with the disapearance of authentic shopkeepers in the netherlands. The variety of interiors that he shows gives a good peak inside the vanishing world of shop interiors in the twentieth century. A book with a selection of the shopkeepers series wil be published in may 2008. He has won 4 Honorable mentions at the 2007 IPA international Photography awards.
