Nina Carter (born 4 October 1952) is a former Page Three girl in the 1970s.
Carter was born Penny Mallett in Solihull, Warwickshire, England. As Penny Mallett, she frequently appeared in Mayfair magazine, and during that period, she appeared in a softcore 8 mm film called Miss Mayfair. In the 1980s, she was a member, with fellow former Page Three girl Jilly Johnson, of the girl group Blonde on Blonde. Carter was married to musician Rick Wakeman from 1984 to 2004. They have two grown children; Jemma Wakeman (b. 1983) and Oscar Wakeman (b. 1986).
Carter had a brief cameo in the movie "An American Werewolf in London" during the scene right before David transformed into a werewolf for the first time. She was on the television for a special report from News of the World titled "The Naked Truth about Naughty Nina." She was going to talk about her life as a pop star, beauty queen and top model. She was also going to speak about the nude pictures ("The only ones I regret are the first ones.") and the men in her life. And about how it all almost destroyed her life.
