Nippon Television Network Corporation (日本テレビ放送網株式会社 Nihon Terebi Hōsōmō Kabushiki-gaisha) (TYO: 9404) is a television network based in the Shiodome area of Minato, Tokyo, Japan owned by the Yomiuri Shimbun. It is commonly known as Nihon TV (日本テレビ Nihon Terebi), contracted to Nittele (日テレ Nittere), and abbreviated as "NTV".

Animation
The company has intimate connections with Studio Ghibli, led by Hayao Miyazaki, and holds the exclusive rights to broadcast their motion pictures. It also produced the popular anime series Detective Conan, Death Note, and Hajime no Ippo, as well as InuYasha (which was produced though its Osaka affiliate, Yomiuri TV). NTV has also been broadcasting the yearly Lupin III TV specials since 1989, which they co-produce with Tokyo Movie Shinsha.
