Nisa-Today's is a brand and buying group (or "symbol group") of independent retailers (primarily small grocery shops) and wholesalers in the United Kingdom. It is a mutual organisation owned by its members and operating "...like a co-operative, using the collective buying power of the large group of members to negotiate deals with suppliers".[4]
Its headquarters and ambient distribution depot are located in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. It also has distribution depots for temperature controlled products at Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Harlow, Essex.
As of 2008[update], NISA-Today's owner members include 300 wholesalers, and 674 retailers. Members own and operate more than 4000 convenience stores and small supermarkets, including the Costcutter symbol group.[3]
In November 2010 NISA opened its new distribution centre for Scotland in Livingston.
Since April 2011, DHL deliver to the stores after winning a contract in 2009 to deliver to Nisa-Today stores. As a result, the group purchased a fleet of new vehicles (a mixture of artics and rigid lorries) to deliver to the Nisa and Costcutter stores.
