Nkubu is a town located in Eastern province of Kenya. It is a town that is predominantly composed of the Ameru tribe whose main economy is supported by Khart commonly referred as 'miraa'. It boasts of schools like Nkubu high school, Meru School and the affluent elementary schools of Fred's academy. Nkubu high school has produced so many well renowned people in the Kenyan social elite.These include Kiraitu Murungi, Francis Muthaura, Edward H Ntalami, Henry Mbaabu raichenah who is the Principal at Mang'u High school.
