"No Ordinary Love" is the lead single from the English group Sade's fourth studio album, Love Deluxe (1992). Released in 1992 on Epic Records, it was a mid-charting hit in the UK when originally released, but reached number fourteen when re-released in 1993.

The song won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 1994.

Cover versions and appearances in the media

"No Ordinary Love" was featured prominently in the 1993 film Indecent Proposal, though it was not included on the film's soundtrack album.

Serbian rock band Night Shift covered the song on their Undercovers album in 2002.

Trip hop band Endless Blue covered the song on their self titled debut album in 2004.

The rock band Deftones covered this song with Jonah Matranga for the band's 2005 B-side collection B-Sides & Rarities. This cover has generally been extremely well received by critics and fans of Sade and Deftones.

Pinoy rock band Urbandub also did a cover of this song, which was included on the EMI Music Philippines 2005 compilation Full Volume - The Best of Pinoy Alternative.[1]

The song was also covered instrumentally by smooth jazz trumpeter Chris Botti on his 2004 album When I Fall in Love.

Richard Marx covered the song as "Ordinary Love" on his 2008 album titled Sundown.

"No Ordinary Love" appeared in the second episode of the second season of 30 Rock when Kenneth Parcell tried to seduce Tracy Jordan's wife, Angie Jordan.

"No Ordinary Love" is often considered their signature song, alongside 1988's "Paradise".
