nondelay fuse
(′nän·di′lā ′fyüz)
(ordnance) Fuse that functions as a result of inertia of the firing pin (or primer) as the missile is retarded during penetration of the target; the inertia causes the firing pin to strike the primer (or the primer, the firing pin), initiating fuse action.
