Salaries, rental of equipment, leases of buildings and equipment, and taxes and other related expenses, including the Loan Loss Provision for anticipated bad debt. Noninterest expenses are the fixed operating costs in a bank, which may be offset by fee income from loan originations, late charges on loans, annual fees, and credit facility fees, or through noncredit services.
