Norberto Davidds-Garrido Jr. (born October 4, 1972 in La Puente, California) is a former American football offensive lineman. Both his Parents are from Mexico making him a first generation Mexican American.

Pro career

Garrido was selected with the 106th pick in the fourth round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. He played with them until 1999. In 2000, he played for the Arizona Cardinals.

College career

Garrido graduated from the University of Southern California after transferring from Mount San Antonio College.

High School Career

Garrido prepped at William Workman High School in City of Industry, CA.

Kerry Collins Incident

In 1997, Garrido punched teammate and quarterback Kerry Collins in the face after Collins drunkenly used a racial epithet about Garrido's Hispanic decent. Collins later apologized for the incident, explaining he naively thought he could use the word in an inoffensive manner.[1]
