Norman Gevitz, Ph.D. is a medical historian.^[1] He has written numerous books and papers on the history of medicine in the United States and England. He is perhaps best known for his book, The D.O.s, about osteopathic physicians in the United States.^[2]^[3] He is currently a professor at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine^[4].
