Biography

One of Hollywood's most respected set decorators, Academy Award-nominated Norman Rockett started out as a film editor for Fox Film Corp. During the early '50s, he assisted the property staff for 20th Century Fox. He eventually worked his way up to full-fledged set designer. He has designed sets for a number of major features including The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965), Planet of the Apes (1968) and its first sequel, and a few Disney movies such as The Love Bug (1969) and its sequel.
