Northern Dynasty Minerals hopes to rule in the North American mining business for a long time to come. The company is putting all of its effort into exploring and developing the Pebble Property in Alaska, a copper/gold/molybdenum project of which it owns 50%. Global mining giant Anglo American invested in the Pebble project in 2007 and now owns half of the joint venture (the Pebble Limited Partnership) conducting the operations at the mine. Northern Dynasty is affiliated with the Hunter Dickinson group of companies and shares some members of its management team with the group.
