This documentary goes deep into the back country of Australia as director Keith Adams and family travel over 9,000 miles through several deserts and outbacks. A 12-foot python is mauled by their dog Tiger, a fearless 18-month-old fox terrier. Aborigines hunt giant turtles and crocodiles, as they have for thousands of years, and land a 1000-pound sea cow for their feasting pleasure. Exotic animals and colorful plant life that can only be found in the land-down-under are also featured in their extensive tour marked by a three-week encampment at the Gulf of Carpentaria. ~ Dan Pavlides, Rovi
