Northwest Medical Center is an acute care hospital serving residents in the northwestern area of Florida's Broward County. The comprehensive medical center is part of the HCA system of health care providers. Founded in 1984, the hospital provides services including dermatology, pediatrics, gynecological surgery, oncology, endocrinology, pain care, outpatient rehabilitation, and urology. Northwest Medical Center houses some 215 patient beds and 600 doctors. Specialty centers located on hospital grounds include stroke, cancer, and bariatrics units.
