Notre-Dame-des-Landes is a commune in the Loire-Atlantique department in western France.
The commune is the planned site of the new Aéroport du Grand Ouest, intended to replace Nantes Atlantique Airport. The €580 million project was approved in February 2008, with construction expected to start in 2012 and an opening date in 2015.[1]
