Novin Investment Bank [1] (NIB) is one of the first three investment banks (the other two being Pasargard and Amin) established in Iran. The holding of Eghtesad Novin Bank (the first private bank of I.R. Iran) [2] is the largest shareholder of NIB. Other major shareholders include Ghadir Investment Company [3], Farhangian Investment Company [4], Iran Zinc Mines Development Company [5], Sakhteman Investment Company of Iran holding [6] and some of the mining companies and other companies. The share capital is 1000 Billion Iranian Rials (around $100M) and is fully paid-in. NIB has stated that it aims at playing an important role at national economic level by providing its clients and stockholders with different services, which include: financing through primary and secondary markets or private equity, initial public offerings (IPOs), mergers and acquisition (M&A) advisory, risk management, financial restructuring, and strategic consultancies.
