Novooskolsky District (Russian: Новооскольский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the 21 in Belgorod Oblast, Russia.[1] Municipally, it is incorporated as Novooskolsky Municipal District.[4] Its administrative center is the town of Novy Oskol.[2] Population: 43,392 (2010 Census preliminary results);[2] 47,380 (2002 Census);[7] 46,669 (1989 Census).[8] Population of Novy Oskol accounts for 45.0% of the district's population.[2]
