Review

Released a little over a year after TLC's final posthumous 3D, Now and Forever: The Hits is a superb 19-track compilation of the trio's heyday as the greatest girl group of the '90s. With the exception of the minor hits "I'm Good at Being Bad," "Dear Lie," and the holiday single "Sleigh Ride," every one of their hit singles is here, including such decade-defining songs as "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg," "Creep," "Waterfalls," "No Scrubs" (presented in its "Rap Version"), and "Unpretty," presented in a roughly chronological order. TLC had expertly crafted albums, especially in CrazySexyCool and FanMail, but their highlights always appeared on singles, and when they're collected together as they are here, it's not only an excellent career summary, it's an addictive listen. [Now and Forever was also released with a bonus DVD that contained the videos for their five biggest hits: "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg," "Waterfalls," "Creep," "No Scrubs," and "Unpretty."] ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

Crazy Sexy Hits: The Very Best of TLC
(2007)

Now and Forever: The Hits is the first internationalcompilation album by American R&B/pop girl group TLC. Via with Arista Records, it was released on September 30, 2003, in most of Japan, November 24, 2003 in the United Kingdom and with a late release on June 21, (see 2005 in music) in North America.

The album comprises nearly all of their singles released between the years of 1991 and 2003, compiling all there albums Ooooooohhh.... On the TLC Tip (1992), CrazySexyCool (1994), FanMail (1999) and 3D (2002), as well as soundtracks to films such as Poetic Justice (1993). Most of the tracks on this album are radio edits inorder to fit all the songs on one disc. While featuring new material, the greatest hits disc contains rare track such as a 2003 production and featured-track from Lil Jon "Come Get Some (TLC song)" which as featured Sean Paul of YoungBloodZ, and an exclusive censored version of the song "Whoop De Woo" (a leftover from "3D" (2002) and a digital download of "I Bet", which featured winner O'so Krispie from their UPN reality television "R U the Girl".

The album debuted to number 53 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart in its opening week with about 26,000 copies sold. However, the album did well in Latin America, peaking in Mexican International album charts at #3 and was certified Gold in late 2004 (50,000 sold). The album has sold over 600,000 copies worldwide.[1]
