NSLOOKUP

 

(Name Server LOOKUP) A utility program that displays the IP address of a host name or the host name of an IP address by querying the domain name system (DNS) server. Originating in the Unix world, there are NSLOOKUP programs for Windows and all operating systems that support IP networks. See IPCONFIG and DNS.
