NT1 (Nouvelle Télévision 1, "New Television 1") is a French television network. It is available through digital terrestrial television in France. It is a subsidiary of AB Group.

NT1 was created for the launch of the TNT platform. In late 2004, AB Groupe announced their intention to call the channel La Quatre (The Four). However, in January 2005, France Télévisions announced that they would rebrand their channel Festival as France 4. This made the AB Groupe decided to revert back to the NT1 name.

Sport programming

On July 24, 2008, the channel announce that it will broadcast on the Sunday, the 2008-09 A1 Grand Prix events[1]. The races of this internationnal racing series will be shown live or pre-recorded. The deal was confirmed by Richard Maroko, General Programmes Manager of the AB Group and Richard Dorfman, A1GP’s director of broadcasting.
