Hayat TV is a television station from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It is a privately-owned TV station, which started airing on February 24, 1992. Its coverage is over 1.5 million people in Bosnia, numerous cable subscribers in the neighbouring countries, and satellite viewers. Hayat TV transmits in Europe through EutelSat16 and Amos 3 satellite. The station also broadcasts to Australia & New Zealand through the Optus D2 Satellite via UBI World TV and to North America through the Intelsat Americas 5 Satellite.
In the beginning of 2009 Hayat TV will open its new headquarters in Vogošća near Sarajevo.
On December 4, 2008 headquarters of NTV Hayat in Bistrik neighborhood, where news programme redaction is placed, was bombed by unknown attackers. This attack is considered as the pressure on this TV station and Bosnian media in general.
