Playing very tight as a result of a short stack.

SoundPoker Says: Whether it be a tournament, or limit poker game. A player who has a short stack and needs to either double up or make money, will nurse their chips. Usually playing very conservative and waiting for strong cards. A short stack and tight player is usually a sign of a player who is nursing.
