Nyse Euronext

Parent corporation formed as a result of the merger of the New York Stock Exchange and Euronext in 2007. The NYSE is the oldest organized stock exchange in the United States. It has been active since its organization in establishing listing requirements for companies whose stocks are traded on the Exchange and in encouraging accurate and timely disclosure of listed company income statement and balance sheet results.
