O.H.M.S. is a 1937 British action comedy film directed by Raoul Walsh and starring Wallace Ford, John Mills, Anna Lee and Grace Bradley. An American criminal evades the police by joining the British army[1]and participates in a rescue of civilians from Chinese bandits.

Her Majesty's Government was impressed with the cinema as a recruiting method and as a counter to the anti-militarism and pacifism of the time. They engaged Raoul Walsh to made a film extolling the British Army similar to what he did to the US Marines in What Price Glory?.[2]
