The Ocala, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area is a Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) consisting of Marion County in the state of Florida in the USA. The principal city in the MSA is Ocala. In 2006 the population of the MSA was 316,183.[1] The Ocala, Florida Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area was first defined in 1981.
