Bono is fighting world hunger with his music. Leonardo DiCaprio has jumped on Al Gore's bandwagon, helping to make the world aware of the effects of global warming. And Matt Damon has joined the efforts to bring clean water to the deserts of Africa. His H20 Africa Foundation strives to create public awareness of the water crisis in Africa; they have produced a documentary, Running the Sahara, chronicling the tale of three men who ran 111 days, across 4,300 miles (6,920 km) of the Sahara, through 6 countries. Damon, who turns 37 today, executive-produced and narrated the film.
