Oem

Original equipment manufacturer. A company that assembles complete pieces of equipment from parts. OEM is also used as an adjective to describe software bundled with a computer or supplies provided initially with computer peripherals or sold by the manufacturer for use in its product. The term is also often used to avoid responsibility; for example, software publishers usually do not provide support for OEM (bundled) software.
