The amount a prospective buyer offers for a property on the market. When an offer is submitted via a sales contract , it constitutes a bona fide offer for the property.


Example: The buyer’s offering price of $250,000 was within 5% of the seller’s listing price of $262,000 and was considered a serious offer.
