The Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) is part of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Bureau for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance.

Formed in 1994, it has a role of "promoting reconciliation, jumpstarting local economies, supporting nascent independent media, and fostering peace and democracy through innovative programming."[1]

Its predecessor was the Office of Democratic Initiatives, which was created by USAID in 1984.
