Review

Robert Goulet's best material comes from his covers of Broadway music. The stage legend released On Broadway in 1965 on Columbia Records. The 12-track album included "Hello Dolly!," "If I Ruled the World" from Pickwick, "People" from Funny Girl, and the title track and "Come Back to Me'" from On a Clear Day You Can See Forever." This is one of Goluet's essential original albums. Available as an import, repackaged with the follow-up album as On Broadway/On Broadway, Vol. 2, which is the best bet for the CD collector. ~ JT Griffith, All Music Guide
