The title of this British series was something of a pun. The program was indeed "on two" (BBC2, that is), and each ten-minute episode featured one single solitary comedian, delivering a monologue written specially for the occasion. The five episodes included "The Man I Was" with Chris Lyman, "Dead Good Friends" with Jo Brand, "Nice Lives" with Andrew Bailey, "Dirty Weekend" with Caroline Quentin, and "Optical Allusions" with John Hegley. One on Two originally aired from June 18 to July 3, 1990. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
