Operation Golden Fleece
Defensive operations in the Vietnam War carried out by the Marines in 1965 and 1966, intended to protect the rice harvest in the Mo Duc District from Vietcong battalions who were expected to sabotage it. Marines also participated in the transportation of the harvest.
