History records two military operations named Operation Guardian:
- The 1948 British-backed attempt to spark an anti-Communist civil war in Yugoslavia. Although thousands of Croats had been trained in Italy and Germany for the task, the shadow army melted away after returning to Yugoslavia. See also: Operation Keelhaul.
- A series of sixteen nuclear tests conducted at the Nevada Test Site. This test series followed Tinderbox and preceded Praetorian. The individual blasts were:
