Operation Kentucky was an operation conducted by the United States Marine Corps in the area around Con Thien, South Vietnam known as Leatherneck Square from November 1, 1967 until February 28, 1968. During the course of the fighting Marine Casualties were 520 killed 2,698 wounded while the NVA suffered 3,839 killed and 117 taken as prisoner of war (USMC account).
