Orange TV (Arabic: تلفزيون البرتقالة), commonly referred to as OTV, is a publicly-traded television station in Lebanon. Affiliated with the Free Patriotic Movement though not officially.[citation needed] It began broadcasting on July 20, 2007 on the Arabsat-BADR 3 satellite, on the 11823 MHz frequency. It now also broadcasts on NILESAT 10892 MHz Horizontal, 27500-3/4 (this is new frequency, since November 2007), and in North America on Satellite Galaxy 25 Orbital position: 97 WestService: Globe Cast world TV Transporter: K3 Video Channel: 66 Frequency Dwn: 11789 MHz Polar: Vertical, and also in Australia on Satellite:Inelsat 8 Orbital position: 166 East Service:MySat Transporter: 22 Frequency 12646 Polarisation: Vertical

Mission
The OTV dream was born from a popular need for an unbiased source of information that addresses the challenges facing the nation through objective analysis and effective solutions. OTV aims to operate under specialized, qualified and dedicated management as an independent and diversified Television Station with the motto “For the People, By the People”, and to offer a grid of programs allying the entertaining and the cultural while promoting modernism, freedom and democracy.
Our goal is to become a preeminent model of a just, impartial and independent media that goes beyond the call of duty and dares to tackle the most sensitive and important issues facing our nation, the region and the world.
Vision OTV is true to its motto "For the people, By the people".
OTV intends to perpetuate true freedom of expression by setting new standards for innovation, independence, impartiality, and diversity in the media arena. It will adopt a positive and constructive approach in furthering the development of the Lebanese society.
OTV thrives to remain "Sovereign, Free and Independent".
Mission
To launch and operate a "Different" land and satellite OTV station that:
- Promotes modernism, freedom and democracy through culturally enlightening and entertaining programs.
- Imparts a youthful and dynamic image while sustaining a genuine authenticity.
- Broadcasts a diverse, yet consistent, show grid that combines various television genres and preferences.
- Transmits from the Lebanese territory and covers the four corners of the globe.
- Creates an interactive link between the Lebanese residents in Lebanon and the Lebanese Diaspora throughout the world.
- Targets all Lebanese in particular and Arabs in general.

Diversity
OTV will serve as a common ground for diversity in public opinions, political views, and television genres. Its broadcasted grids will cater to the needs and tastes of the vast majority of Lebanese, and will present a real, authentic image of Lebanon for the large number of Lebanese immigrants. The diversity of OTV will help promote a more civilized, developed, and harmonious Lebanon; a Lebanon that prides itself in its heritage, understands its variety, and respects existing differences.
Autonomy
OTV hopes to benefit from a large shareholder base hence a free capital allowing for an unbiased grid of programs and no political or other kinds of influences or constraints on the content of its shows.
Transparency
The OTV management team will be committed to follow the principles of good governance.
